Do you have experience in Sales or Lead Generation? Ideally working for an energy consultancy, TPI or broker? We are looking for a Business Development Executive to build a robust business pipeline and generate high-quality leads. In this role, you will be required to source new clients who typically spend £1m+ pa on energy .You will set up meetings for the Senior BDMs to win and close new business clients. An understanding of energy and carbon is preferable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. If this role sounds like a good fit for you, apply today!

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects and opportunities via LinkedIn, social media, inhouse CRM, networking etc.
  • Build a strong corporate business pipeline.
  • Generate high-quality leads and develop an understanding of potential client requirements
  • Book in meetings from the leads for the BDMs to attend via MS Teams or face-to-face.
  • Accurately maintain and update the CRM database.

Skills and experience required:

  • Understanding of energy / carbon markets, though comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and proactive
  • Proficient in building and nurturing sales relationships.
  • Passionate about generating new business with a strong drive for success.
  • Client-focused with a compassionate and attentive approach.

Role: Business Development Executive

Location: Leeds x3 days per week/2 days from home

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
