My client, who are based in Abingdon, are a fast-growing organisation within the education industry.

They are a unique company who specialise in helping and teaching the public, and are looking to recruit another great Business Development Executive to join their vibrant sales team!

Description

Key responsibilities of the Business Development Executive include:

  • Maximising all sales opportunities via email, telephone and face-to-face
  • Account manage a portfolio of clients
  • Learn and understand the companies product range to promote new products, up-sell, and cross sell
  • Effectively use questions and actively listen to understand the customer's requirements
  • Work to achieve agreed sales and growth targets
  • Prospecting potential sales
  • Develop effective working relationships with team members
  • Delight customers, above and beyond the call of duty (go the "extra mile")
  • Have empathy for a customer's problem and think "outside the box" to offer achievable solutions
  • Engage with our customers to maximise sales return
  • Support in relevant customer meetings to the companies head office
  • Conduct and travel to face to face meetings with clients across Oxfordshire

Profile

The successful Business Development Executive will:

  • Be determined and proactive
  • Have a track-record of exceeding sales targets
  • Field sales or new business development experience is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Knowledge or experience in the education and training sector is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Effective and confident communicator - clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Be a great team player
  • Have a full UK driving licence
