Our client, established for almost 20 years, supplies office stationery and workwear to customers across the UK from its base in the North East. Growing at a rate of 20% year on year and having invested heavily in new state of the art printing equipment, they now seek a Business Development Consultant to promote their extensive range of Workwear and PPE.

As Business Development Consultant, you will:

-manage existing accounts across a wide range of industry sectors

-prospect for new business via a combination of business profiling, face-to-face meetings, telephone sales, emails, social media, LinkedIn and regular networking

-prepare, propose and follow up quotes

-meet agreed sales and activity targets

-utilise the company’s CRM system to plan and log all of your sales activities

As Business Development Consultant, you will need:

-a demonstrable track record of success in Workwear sales

-the initiative to identify potential new customers

-the awareness to up/cross-sell to existing clients

-the motivation & determination to develop new business daily

-a consultative style

-a good level of literacy

Salary & benefits:

£28-30k basic

Uncapped commission

Realistic £40k OTE in first year
