We are working with an establishedIndependent Training Provider in the West Midlands whom are now looking to hire a business development Advisor, on a full time permanent basis.

Within this role, you will be instrumental in forging partnerships between our clients and potential employers. Your main responsibility will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with employers to create employment opportunities for our clients. They are seeking a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills and a knack for networking. This role requires access to a car and a valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employer Relationship Building:
    • Develop and nurture relationships with local employers, understanding their hiring needs, company culture, and recruitment processes.
    • Regularly engage with existing employer partners to strengthen connections and identify new opportunities.
  • Networking and Outreach:
    • Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking functions to promote the company’s services and establish new connections within the business community.
    • Collaborate with local organizations, educational institutions, and community groups to expand the network of potential employers.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, job placements, and client progress.
    • Generate regular reports on employer engagement activities, outcomes, and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, or account management.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, work placements, and government-funded training programmes would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and develop productive relationships.
  • Professionalism and credibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and resilience.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as TEAMs, Zoom, etc. (beneficial).
