We are looking for a fantastic Brand Manager to join our marketing team with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic pillars of the USN product portfolio across the UK. Accountable for leading distinct initiatives that support the brand strategy; and developing and executing marketing plans with key UK retailers, aligning to the overarching brand communication strategy.

You will:

  • Lead the execution of the marketing strategy for key products & retailers, articulating the campaign idea in a consistent way to engage & inspire retail consumers at relevant retail touchpoints.
  • Lead specific strategic initiatives that align to the in-year brand objectives & strategy.
  • Support the creation of brand campaigns, feeding into the creative development, consumer receptivity analysis and strategic media planning.
  • Manage distinct sections of the marketing budget (with approval of the UK Marketing Manager) for example, the FMCG marketing or consumer research budgets.
  • Be accountable for understanding & managing the sub-brand / product categories under your respective remit.
  • Be responsible for being the marketing 'point person’ for the UK sales team.
  • Be involved in the design process for any creation or innovation that aligns to your respective sub-brands / product categories.
  • Be responsible for leading market/consumer research where appropriate, in-line with brand strategies and identified knowledge gaps.
  • Provide competitor intelligence, including new product launches, marketing campaigns and business strategies.
  • Play a role in supporting the development of future NPD direction/funnel

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in retail
  • Ability to develop strategic thinking, whilst being equally adept at executing in the near-term.
  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders throughout the business, to ensure marketing plans are understand and executed properly.
  • Develop & maintain excellent relationships & communication with the sales team, marketing team and wider team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, prioritising and delegating to deliver maximum value to the business.
  • Communicate effectively & openly, solving problems, proactively offering creative ideas and working as a fully engaged team member
  • High level of creativity.
  • Other must-have competencies: analytical, planning, interpersonal intelligence, integrity & trust, process management, presentation skills.
  • Negotiates and influences effectively with other members of the team, business and third parties.
