A job opportunity has arisen, for a Bookkeeping and VAT professional to join a progressive and successful firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Lincolnshire. The firm are open to both part-time and full-time applicants with the salary being negotiable, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

Building strong client relationships is a core value for the company and so a personable and approachable attitude to work is a must. You must be a good communicator, professional and work well as both part of a team and individually.

  • Providing the agreed service for a portfolio of clients covering all aspects of bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for your assigned clients for these services.
  • Management of accounts - carry out balance sheet reconciliations and posting accounting journals.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and meet all deadlines
  • Be organised, reliable, proactive and show a willingness to assist others
  • Possess excellent levels of accuracy and a professional work attitude
  • Experience with Xero and Money soft payroll manager is preferred but not essential
  • Good IT knowledge
  • Confidentiality
  • Experience is essential
