Marc Daniels are recruiting an experienced bookkeeper to join a well-established SME based in Ascot.

This role would allow full ownership of the accounting and finance function.

This role will also entail an element of day to day admin duties on an ad-hoc basis.

Experience using Xero is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger duties including checking and coding all invoices & maintaining invoicing process.
  • Sales Ledger duties including customer credit control, issuing of credit notes and allocating payments received.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Reconciling month end figures
  • Weekly, monthly & yearly reports
  • Analysing, creating new procedures and functions where necessary

Person Specification:

  • Ability to handle multiple aspects of a finance / ledger function.
  • Highly numerate and organised
  • Highly efficient and organised in sticking to and creating new processes and procedures.
  • Highly literate and experienced with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced working with Xero Accounting.
