Biotech Account Manager


Location: Cambridge
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission
Product range: Life Science instruments, reagents and consumables (molecular biology, cell biology, protein analysis)

Join a dynamic, global life science leader that is at the forefront of scientific innovation. As a Biotech Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s market presence in the prestigious Cambridge territory. You will be an experienced life science Account Manager who enjoys forging relationships with new and existing customers, identifying sales opportunities, and developing the business plan to drive life science instrumentation, reagent and consumable sales.

You’ll already be aware that Cambridge is Europe's largest biotechnology hub which consists of 30+ science parks within 10-mile radius of the city. A knowledge of the biotech landscape in the Cambridge area would be a distinct advantage. If you enjoy opening doors, developing new relationships, and breaking into new accounts across a well renowned biotech hub, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a life science field
  • Proven experience in life sales, account management, or business development
  • Strong understanding of molecular/cell biology/protein workflows and technologies, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering on sales targets and strategic objectives.
