Biology Teacher

A Biology Teacher is needed in a mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.

You will need to teach KS3 and KS4 Science classes for this Biology Teacher post.

The ability to teach KS3/4 Chemistry will be advantageous but not essential for this Biology Teacher role.

This Biology Teacher position will be part time for every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply to this Biology Teacher position. These include but aren't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending regular team meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this Biology Teacher role will be between £170 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

Requirements

You are welcome to apply if you are a newly qualified Biology Teacher or experienced Biology Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Biology Teacher or overseas trained Biology Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Biology Teacher:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of teaching as a Biology Teacher in UK schools
