We are seeking a Biology Lecturer to join a Further Education Establishment, renowned for delivering A Level, AS, GCSE, and Vocational Science courses with outstanding results.   • Salary: £31,357 to £43,729 per annum including London Weighting
  • Location: Middlesex 
  • Job Type: Full Time
Day-to-day of the role of a Biology Lecturer :
  • Teach Science across various levels, including AS and A Level Biology, GCSE Biology, and Vocational Science Levels 2 and 3.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Develop and update teaching materials and resources.
  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Biology Lecturer role:
  • A degree in biological sciences 
  • Experience of teaching Science, including Biology up to Level 3.
  • Commitment to obtaining a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector if not already held (funded and supported by the institution).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A passion for science and education.
