BIM/CAD Manager - Finsbury Circus House

Purpose of the Role

To manage all aspects of BIM/CAD within the Engineering and Consultancy team with regards to quality and standards of the work being produced and issued.

Development of Revit MEP on all Savills M&E Projects to ensure a user/live Project approach to be rolled out across all projects within the wider regional EDC teams.

Setting up procedures and policies for controlling internal and external CAD/BIM staff whilst having a hand’s on approach modelling and draughting on all Projects.

Developing and setting up CAD and Revit Standards and Revit Templates for projects ranging from RIBA stage 2 , 3 and 4 BIM models.

Key Responsibilities

 BIM standards development, implementation and enforcement

 BIM execution plan development and implementation

 Coordination and modelling of Revit MEP BIM projects

 BIM Level 2 COBie Deliverables

 2D AutoCAD drawing Production

 Development and promotion of new strategies for most effective use of BIM

 Updating company's BIM standards with new advancements in BIM technologies

 Troubleshoot various BIM software (related problems)

 Collecting and processing 2D documentation and 3D models for design coordination

 Managing BIM 360 Sites

 Demonstrating leadership and supervisions skills towards project BIM team and its activities

 Assisting project teams with BIM project setup

 Coordinate and manage BIM internal and external meetings

 Liaising with Contractors to ensure smooth novation of Revit Models to ensure models are further developed

 Managing and controlling quality of Outsourced CAD/BIM

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 10 Years Experience in a similar role.

Experienced user of the following software.

Model Authoring Autodesk Revit MEP

Clash Review Navisworks Manage

Collaboration BIM360 Design, Revit Server

Management BIM Track, BIM Collab

BIM Classification Manager, COBie Extension

CAD Autodesk AutoCAD

Working Hours - 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
