Teaching Assistant
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 15:15
  • Location: Brighton
  • Salary: £85-£90

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people’s lives and thrives in a supportive team environment. Day to Day of the Role:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom to support the delivery of lessons.
  • Motivate and encourage pupils to engage in learning activities.
  • Provide support to young people who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
  • Help maintain a structured and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to implement educational plans.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • Strong educational background across various subjects.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and relevant learning programmes.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and codes of practice.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and a positive approach to working with young people.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with young people is preferred.
