Behavioural Specialist Classroom Support | Redbridge, East London

Position: Behavioural Specialist Classroom Support

Location: Redbridge, East London

Behavioural Specialist | Responsibilities

  1. Behavioural Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of children's behavioural challenges to develop tailored intervention strategies.
  2. Individualised Plans: Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to create and implement individualised behaviour intervention plans.
  3. Classroom Support: Provide direct support to teachers in managing challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  4. Data Collection: Maintain accurate records of behavioural data to monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
  5. Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.
  6. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with school psychologists, special education teams, and other professionals to create a collaborative support network.

Behavioural Specialist | Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in behaviour analysis or a similar role in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural theories and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to the changing needs of students.
