Hours: 3x 11.5 Hour days including weekends

Pay rate: £19.10-£30.56 (uplifts for weekends and Bank Holidays)

MFT Manchester University Foundation Trust are currently seeking organised and motivated candidates to fulfil MRI Radiography opportunities within the Radiology department under a long-term placement contract.

The post hold will be responsible for implementing and maintaining radiation safety for the department and will be required to work closely with the radiation protection advisors and the radiology radiation protection panel. They must be able to demonstrate initiative and prioritise a complex workload whilst working both as a autonomous and practitioner and as part of a team.

You will be responsible for providing provide a high quality MR service to all patients at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Duties of the Job:

• undertake radiographic duties in any of the MR scanners at MFT, ensuring high standards of radiographic quality and patient care are maintained and delivered in a timely manner
• Analyse complex tasks or situations requiring interpretation or comparison of a range of options. Possess specialist skills for assessing acute and other patient conditions, adapting MR parameters to complex case
• Ensure that patient examination and other details are accurately recorded where available onto the Radiology computer system in a timely manner so providing correct data on each case.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• HCPC registration
• BSc/equivalent radiography qualification
• Previous NHS experience
• Practices in accordance with the professional, ethical, and legal codes of the Health & Care Professions Council
• (HCPC), and Trust and NHS protocols and guidelines
