Position Available: Locum Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Social Worker

Location: Chorley

Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm)

Salary: Band 6

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Temporary post covering long-term sickness

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated Locum Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Social Worker to join our team. This position will involve managing a small caseload of individuals living in the community with various mental health needs. The successful candidate will provide support, assessment, and intervention to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small caseload of individuals with mental health needs.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide support and intervention to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and progress.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualification as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Social Worker.
  • Band 6 experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a community mental health setting.
  • Familiarity with community-based interventions and support services.
