Azure Cloud Engineer – Hybrid / one day per week in Nottingham
£45,000 - £55,000 + bonus and great benefits

This profitable and growing organisation require an experienced Cloud Engineer, who has a background working with Azure and all its nuances in a commercial setting. You will be responsible for planning and supporting the optimisation of their current systems and services whilst contributing to the modernisation of their infrastructure.

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be the cloud SME within the team, offering knowledge and support to their current Infrastructure Engineers. You will design scalable and efficient cloud solutions based on Azure services as well as implement, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

The role will be hybrid, with the expectation of one day a week in their Nottingham office.

Requirements:
  • Azure certifications are highly desirable.
  • At least three years expertise in Azure services (compute, storage, networking, databases)
  • Infrastructure as code tools such e.g. Terraform/ARM/Bicep.
  • Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience of networking technologies, Active Directory and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes would also be beneficial.

Effectively, this role is responsible for working with the wider IT team to contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of IT Services for a business with several hundred employees across multiple sites.
