Scope of Role:

To repair and overhaul a wide range of aircraft Communications, Navigation, Radar, Radio Audio units, Recorders and Instruments to component level. This role requires working with technologies ranging from analogue electronics to complex microprocessor electronics and RF circuits.

  • Undertake precise mechanical work and electronics repair including through hole and surface mounted components.
  • Complete fault finding, repair and testing process using specialised and general-purpose test equipment
  • Undertake work in accordance with the manufacture’s component maintenance manual and regulatory approvals and the company’s quality system.

  • Take responsibility for understanding the Standard Operating Procedures and how they are applied to the role.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies requirements.
  • There is a responsibility on all employees to bring to the attention of their manager any issues that could potentially affect the business, regardless of how small they may seem at the time.
  • All duties within this job description should be carried out in line with any Company policies and procedures in place at the time.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Full Driving Licence
  • Degree/Diploma is essential on the below:
  • Aircraft Engineering
  • Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology
  • Experience working in EASA 145 maintenance organisation and understanding of the regulations.
  • Good understanding of aircraft component maintenance principles and system avionic
