A Top 50 Firm with an enviable client base are looking to add a qualified Audit Senior to their team. The role will be made up of a mix of audit and accounts work and the successful candidate will have exposure to a varied client base, including large groups and international clients. You will be expected to act as the first point of contact for all client queries and be seen as a trusted Business Advisor. This is a great opportunity to work closely with Partners as they operate an open door policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Prepare full sets of statutory accounts under both UK and International Reporting Standards
  • Provide mentoring and training to the more junior members of staff
  • Review the work of juniors and Semi-Seniors offering guidance and support as and when required
  • Work closely with clients to identify any opportunities to add value

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience of working in an accountancy firm where at least 50% of your duties are centred around audit.
  • Experience of preparing full sets of accounts - any experience of preparing consolidated accounts is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong track record of building and developing relationships
  • Able to multitask as the successful applicant will be working on numerous assignments at any one time
