Audit Manager - About The Role

As an Audit Manager, you will be joining a larger Audit team and be the direct line manager for the more junior members of the team. Managing a diverse portfolio which will consist of both new and established clients, you will be encouraged to develop further revenue streams and bring new clients into the firm.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and becoming their primary
  • Develop and apply your technical and commercial knowledge to provide expert advice and exceed client expectations
  • Lead and manage audit assignments to completion, managing budgets, billing and client engagement
  • Contribute to the management of the audit team, audit procedures and, more widely, to the whole compliance team
  • Manage the junior members of the team and provide training where necessary

The successful Audit Manager will have:

  • Either ACA or ACCA with a minimum of 1-2 years post qualification experience
  • At least 6 years’ UK practice experience
  • Previous experience at assistant manager or manager level
  • Proven experience of producing high quality audits
  • Aptitude to assist with business development activities
  • Commercial approach to business
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
