Audit and Accounts Senior in Northampton

£45,000 (DOE)

AJ Chambers are currently representing a Chartered Certified Accountants, who are seeking an Audit Semi Senior, to join their long established, progressive and highly reputable firm.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA Qualified or Part qualified and will have strong practice experience and the potential to develop the practice even further.

The Role:

  • Attending large Audit engagements
  • Being a part of the planning and completion stages of Audits
  • Completing all compliance required for External Audit engagements
  • Assisting Junior members of the team
  • Able to complete full statutory Accounts preparation up to review stage
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent salary package and genuine long term directorship opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate: 18 or more months of practice experience ACA / ACCA qualified / part qualified

  • Experience gained within a professional services environment
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting standards, industry specifics and their applications.
  • Technically competent in audit and accounting standards
  • Knowledge of IRIS preferred

Good interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Highly professional appearance and attitude
  • Keen to learn and take on new challenges
  • Organised with evidenced ability to manage time
