Audit and Accounts Senior

About the role

• Title: Audit and Accounts Senior
• Location: Wirral based
• Salary: up to £36K depending on experience
• Hours: Monday - Friday
• Benefits: 20 days holiday plus BH, flexitime, on-site parking, growth opportunities

Responsibilities

• Preparing of accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships.
  
• Explaining and discussing reports with clients in person and over the telephone
  
• Preparation of management accounts
  
• Preparation of tax returns
  
• Assisting with field based audits
  
• Guidance to team members and reviewing reports
  

Requirements

• 4 years experience in an accountancy practice
• Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified but not essential, experience of part qualified considered
• Experience in auditing
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills
• Experience using Digita, Sage, Xero accounts is beneficial
