Senior Audio Visual Engineer

Due to continued growth and a great start to 2024 securing a number of exciting new projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Audio-Visual Engineer with one of my clients, an award-winning audio-visual technology consultancy who specialise in designing and installing bespoke entertainment and technology systems into high-end homes and commercial environments.

In this role, you will be working alongside their existing team on homes, hospitality and corporate projects across the UK.

As a Senior Audio Visual Engineer with a proven track record in this industry, tasks you may be required to do will include:

• Overseeing projects on site

• Mentoring and managing junior engineers

• Termination and testing of cables on project sites

• Installation of audio visual and control equipment

• Assembling and wiring equipment racks

• Fault finding and testing equipment such as Crestron, RTI, AMX and Lutron. Full training will be provided where necessary

• Liaising with staff, clients, trades, suppliers and other design professionals

• You will need to spend nights away from home when working on projects

Qualifications, Skills and attributes needed to thrive in this role include the following:

• Experience in the custom installation and audio-visual industry

• Knowledge of cables and connectors and test procedures

• Knowledge of audio-visual signals

• A passion for technology

• A practical aptitude and be willing to undergo further training where necessary

• A full UK driving license is essential
