Assistant Underwriter - Property Treaty

My client, a leading specialty insurer, is currently looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join them, focusing on Property Treaty in their International Cat team.

Salary: £50,000-£95,000
Location: City of London

This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with proven treaty reinsurance experience, ideally 5 years or more, to join a profitable and dynamic team with ambitious plans. This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and development within the business as well as progression within the team.

The focus within this position will be on the international catastrophe book of business, so you will be working hand in hand with the International Underwriters, but you will also have access to all other areas of the team. This will be a hands-on role with great exposure to tasks such as day-to-day transactions with brokers and underwriters to really solidify your expertise.
