Our client, based in Ashton Vale, Bristol are in a period of expansion and are looking to add an Assistant Production Manager to their expanding team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for QHSE duties.

You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to Production Staff for the relevant functions on site.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liase with suppliers on all quality related issues
  • Facilities and communicate QHSE expectations throughout the site
  • Interact with internal departments to maintain product supply and introduction of new products
  • Manage and develop support staff
  • Keep updated quality related documentation
  • Carry out internal audits of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Ensure H&S risk assessments are conducted and all actions completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards, being mindful of current and future legislation
  • Attend training and develop your own knowledge and skills


Candidates skills required

  • Good communication
  • Strong Administration Skill
  • Ability to make tough decisions and deal with complex situations
  • Ability to motivate staff to achieve measurable results
  • Good understanding of 5S

The role has a large car park next to the site (Free of Charge) and is easily accessible by both local Bus and Train routes.
