Role: Assistant Planner

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £25000-£30000

We are proud to be representing a Consultancy that is based across three different cities but do work across the whole of the UK. Holding a wealth of experience in all the sectors of development and specifically holding expertise in retail and residential. Due to a healthy work load are looking for an Assistant Planner to join the office based in Birmingham.

Essential Criteria for an Assistant Planner:

• MRTPI qualified or accredited Diploma or Masters. (Relevant Town Planning Degree)
• Understanding at a practical level in property.
• 1- 2 years of exposure in the private sector of planning.
• Strong numerical and report writing skills.

Responsibilities and Duties of an Assistant Planner:

• Provide planning consultancy advice to clients and colleagues.
• Attend and report with clients at regular project meetings.
• Produce reports to support planning appeals and applications.
• Develop and maintain active communication with your own team and other teams.
• Becoming a single point of contact for clients.
