Contract: Temp to Perm, Full Time

Salary: £41,418 - £46,464

The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Waste Operations Manager to join their dynamic and hardworking Waste & Recycling team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large multi-disciplinary teams in a waste collection and disposal environment
  • Hold a valid full HGV Class 2 driving licence
  • Hold CoTC (WAMITAB) level 4 qualification
  • Possess ILM Level 5 Leadership/Management certification
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure excellent standards are consistently met
  • Manage and mitigate risks in a waste collection setting
  • Demonstrate and promote outstanding customer care
  • Support our client's commitment towards waste minimisation and improved recycling opportunities
  • Undertake duties covering domestic, special, and commercial waste collections
