Assistant Management Accountant

A growing charity dedicated to finding causes and treatments to help baby loss. They fund research centres in the UK to investigate and improve maternity outcomes for women and birthing people.
The Role:
- Support in delivering monthly management accounts including: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, investments, deferred income and adjustments. As well as completing monthly balance sheets reconciliations, ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Being a trusted business partner for budget holders, helping them to understand numbers and variances as well as assisting with the annual budget process
- Assist with the production of year end financial statements, preparation of the annual audit information pack and ensure that income streams are reconciled, correction coded and recorded
- Will have assisted with the production of management accounts, be familiar with budget and forecast processes and had experience in influencing through provision of management information
- Had experience working in a small finance team, desirably within a fundraising charity
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
What’s on offer?
- £34,000 - £37,000 per annum depending on experience
- Hybrid working structure (2 days per week in a central London location)
