Communicate are working with a leading entertainment business based in North London on their search for an Assistant Management Accountant.

The company in question is continuning on their expansion and rapidly growing in the UK, so this role will play a pivotal part in supporting the finance team on this growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end management accounts, bank reconciliations, and supporting the Financial Controller with any ad hoc projects that arise.
  • Complete monthly P&Ls and ensure all invoices are properly coded and relevant
  • Complete balance sheet recs and month end Reporting as well as performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations of Stock and investiagte any potential variances
  • Help implement and embed their transition into SAP as well as SOX controls
  • Complete processes for month end inclduing prepayments, accurals, using relevant systems to extract required data for journal postings
  • Pro-actively working with senior finance individuals as well as working with auditor requests.

Requirements:

  • Part qualified CIMA ( Someone who aims to fuly qualify in the future)
  • 1 year in a Finance Role
  • Finance Degree preferable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Formulas
