Assistant Management Accountant

We are working with a fantastic multi-national organisation who are coming out of the retail sector. This organisation is a household name and are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to join their talented team in Birmingham. The organisation has grown tremendously over recent years, and are looking to continue their growth by bringing on a talented individual with experience of completing month end tasks. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will gain some fantastic exposure to senior duties, as you will be training up to producing the management accounts by yourself, and being directly involved in financial meetings with Senior Management. To begin with, you will be posting journals such as accruals and prepayments, and completing balance sheet reconciliations. It is essential to have prior experience in these tasks.

• To be confident and charismatic. it is essential to be confident in this role as you will be interacting with various stakeholders from a both finance and non-finance background.
• To have experience completing month end tasks, such as posting journals such as accruals and prepayments and completing reconciliations on the bank and balance sheet.
• To be currently studying either your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have already completed some of your examinations in this further qualification.
