Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half are partnering with a rapidly growing and established Manufacturing business based in Aston, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis.

**This is an opportunity to become a 'number two' to the Head of Finance**

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end reporting
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Monthly payroll and associated reporting
• Ownership of related company transactions and reporting
• Mentorship of the sales and purchase ledger team

To be considered for the role, you must have the following experience:

• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Aston site (Birmingham)
• Have excellent numerical, literacy and communication skills
• Be confident working under pressure to meet deadlines and have a great eye for detail
• Part-Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be entitled to the following:

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
