My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Assistant Hydrology Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Glasgow.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Oceanography or Coastal Engineering and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, River Restoration or Peat Restoration or Hydrological Assessments or Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Glasgow to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Environmental Projects for greenfield, industrial, commercial and renewable energy projects.

You will also be required to complete;

-Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Drainage Strategies.

-Water Quality Assessments.

-Peat Restoration.

-Coastal Modelling.

-River Restoration Schemes and Natural Flood Risk Management.

-GIS Mapping.
