A leading charitable organisation are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team on a temporary to permanent basis or a straight permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in bank reconciliations, income flows, and control accounts.  

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Bank reconciliations. 
  • Maintaining control accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Dealing with complex, high-volume transactions. 
  • Reconciling from multiple sources of income. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Excellent accounting reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and be self-organised.
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in writing clear copy.
  • Experience in the charity or hospitality industry. 
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s). 
  • Experience with QuickBooks or Xero (Desirable)

This role is 35 working hours per week (9am–5pm Monday to Friday), hybrid with two days in the office per week.
