Assistant Business Partner

Our globally-recognised retail client is looking for an Assistant Business Partner to join their team in Havant. The purpose of the role is to assist in commercial reporting and analysis for digital channels within the business.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

• Key finance support across digital business channels
• Provide commercial analysis to support stakeholders to drive performance
• Support Digital Senior Business Partner in budgeting and forecasting process
• Work closely with business customers to identify and address forecasting risks and opportunities
• Track results of business trading decisions and prompt actions
• Support and enhance the design and preparation of stakeholder communications
• Contribute towards continuous efforts to improve information integrity and consistency
• Provide financial / system training to key stakeholders
• Work collaboratively within finance and with key stakeholders
• Ad-hoc deliverables that support departmental or business objectives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Key skills and experience:

• AAT Qualified OR CIMA or ACCA part-qualified
• Experience working in an analytical role
• Takes the initiative, acts with confidence & works under own direction
• Adapts to the team & builds team spirit
• Writes clearly, structured, logical and succinctly in an engaging & expressive manner
• Shares expertise & knowledge with others
• Analyses numerical data, verbal data & all other sources of information
