Assistant Accountant

Are you a part qualified accountant looking for a varied role within a growing business? Hamlin Knight are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to report into the Financial Controller of this Coventry based client with responsibility for the monthly Management Accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform control account reconciliations including debtors, creditors, cash book, stock
• Prepare monthly management accounts involving prepayments, accruals, sales rebates, overhead/expenses analysis
• Enhance and improve management information systems
• Aid in ad hoc/project-based tasks under the guidance of the Financial Controller
• Handle various accounts administrative duties as required, including sales invoicing and credit control
• Collaborate on purchase ledger activities such as inputting invoices, statement reconciliations, and payments

The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in accounting and ideally be studying AAT/CIMA/ACCA or looking to study.
