Assistant Accountant 
  • Salary: From £10.50 per hour
  • Location:  Radstock
  • Job Type: Permanent /Part-time
  • Expected Hours: 30 – 40 per week

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team at leading local waste management and environmental business. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and committed to environmental sustainability, and looking to contribute to a greener future. If you are looking for a part-time role in finance to work around your life, this role could be perfect for you. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Raising monthly sales invoices for contracted customers.
  • Allocating card and Direct Debit payments.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Managing credit control activities.
  • Performing other financial administrative duties to support the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven accounts experience is essential.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on prompt task completion.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confidence in processing invoices and experience in doing so.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with statement reconciliations and handling queries.
  • Positive and outgoing attitude.
  • Sage 50 experience is desirable, although not essential.
