Assistant Accountant Temporary

Grafton Banks Finance are supporting a growing business in the Uckfield area, who are looking to recruit a temporary Assistant Accountant. This in a rolling temporary position initially but will have opportunity to be made permanent. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will offer opportunity to support with monthly management accounts and month end.

Duties will include:

• Intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Bookkeeping – purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and fixed assets
• Raising intercompany charges
• Managing and resolving any invoice queries
• Assisting with a range of year end, budgeting, and month end duties.
• Ad hoc support across projects

Essential for this role:

• Available on immediate or short notice
• Ability to commute to Uckfield offices on a hybrid basis.
• Strong Excel experience (vlookups, sumifs, formulas, etc.)
• AAT level 3 or 4 qualification (desired)
