Asset Manager - Build to Rent
PMR are seeking an Asset Manager to work with our client to support the operational delivery of asset management functions for a growing national Build to Rent portfolio of c.4,000 units. Based at the central London office, with regular site visits.
Key Accountabilities:
- Overall responsibility for the asset management of a proportion of the operational asset portfolio, including reporting, driving service standards, regular site inspections and management meetings.
- To be accountable for leasing performance, marketing strategy and competitor analysis across the operational portfolio; including:
- Developing asset specific leasing strategies, including the use of incentives, taking into account local market conditions and company targets
- Setting and monitoring targets for leasing income using a variety of metrics, such as growth, voids and performance against budget
- Responsibility for secret shopping of operational assets, developing strategies for improvement and overseeing implementation
- Reporting on leasing and marketing performance at internal meetings, through formal written reports and ad-hoc as required during periods of lease-up
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of equity partner reporting
- Providing regular market analysis, both UK wide and local market per asset / city
- Keeping an active competitor set with comparables of existing competitors and new supply
- Developing strong relationships with site teams and third party agents to drive results
