Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for an Assembly Team Leader with a Counterbalance license on behalf of our client in Lye, Stourbridge. Our client is a successful manufacturer in the steel industry and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to help head their Assembly department, due to growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assembling and finishing new product orders
  • Dismantling/re assembly and repair of customers products
  • Assisting management with problems that may occur
  • Prepare and update assembly documentation
  • Assist with moving products on counterbalance forklift truck in the absence of forklift driver

Skills and experience required:
  • Mechanical fitter/assembly experience in a steel environment – 2 years
  • Forklift counterbalance license is essential
  • Strong communication skills

Hours of work:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8am-4.30pm
  • Overtime available

Rate of pay:
£13.50-£14.50 dependant on experience
