We are a well established manufacturing business located in Woking who are now seeking an additional Assembly Operator to join our existing team. This position is to start ASAP on a full time basis working Monday to Friday with paid overtime available. We will pay a starting salary depending on experience plus an annual bonus and company incentive schemes. The role would suit candidates looking to secure work to start ASAP on a permanent basis. either We are ideally seeking suitable candidates who have worked within an Assembly role previously, who can demonstrate the ability to use hand held tools, have an eye for detail and be happy working in a bench assembly role.
If you have any assembly or production experience that is great but we will also consider recent College or University leavers looking to secure a role in an engineering company which can offer full training and scope to develop in the future. We will also consider applicants looking to move into an assembly role having gained experience in other sectors such as catering, retail or warehouse.
The role of Assembly Operator  is involved in a range of tasks working from a work bench to assemble, test and prepare a range of components and equipment used in our products which we sell and service. We manufacture and service a range of small equipment and so you should have a good eye for detail and be happy working with small pieces of equipment and parts. The main duties of the role include:-
Manual assembly work of small components for PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) production, including new and rework components.
Testing of assembly’s PPE production.
Using a range of hand held tools and equipment.
Cleaning and preparation of components for production and development.
Record and maintain manual test and stock records.
Action works orders for jobs as required.
The company operates using a quality system ISO 9001: 20015.
All work must be recorded as per the company quality system, and company procedures must be followed. All materials used must be recorded and accounted to for to ensure that customers are charged correctly.
