Our client is an early-stage drug development company based in Cambridgeshire. They currently have a position available for an experienced Assay Development Scientist to join the company.
Working within the Assay Development and Screening Team within Discovery Biology, the role will include:
- Screening compounds in single point and IC50 biochemical fluorescence-based assays
- Evaluation of compounds in cellular target engagement
- Assay development and troubleshooting of biochemical and cellular assays.
Suitable applicants will ideally be:
- Experience working with the development of Biochemical and Cellular Screening Assays
- Previous experience working within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry using assay development
- Familiarity with SDS Page and Western Blotting
- Understanding of the drug discovery process
- BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
