Asbestos Surveyor

Our client is looking for a new Asbestos Surveyor to join their consultancy that is dedicated to ensuring safe and compliant environments for all. The client specialises in asbestos management, offering comprehensive solutions to clients across the UK. This opportunity is a full time permanent opportunity in and around Bristol paying £30,000 - £36,000 per year with additional bonuses and overtime available.

What Does the Role Entail?

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting a range of asbestos surveys, including Management Surveys and Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys, across various properties in Bristol. Your duties will include undertaking air monitoring, fibre counting, and performing 4 Stage Clearances, as well as preparing comprehensive survey reports for clients. You'll collaborate with clients, contractors, and colleagues to ensure effective project coordination and compliance with HSE guidelines and industry best practices.

What Skills Will You Have?

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) in asbestos surveying (e.g., RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying).
• Experience working for a UKAS accredited company and additional asbestos qualifications (e.g., COCA) would be beneficial.
• Proven experience conducting a range of asbestos surveys and related activities.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, including CAR 2012 and HSG264.
• Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Kent and Essex.
