Arrears & Litigation Officer - Bridging Loans

Day to day activities include:
- Being a customer liaison expert for a portfolio of bridging cases, communicating with customers on loans to ensure redemption is on track
- Helping customers with the ongoing management of their account, including breaches of conditions
- Being the first point of contact for customers, helping them to solve any queries and offering support and solutions, as well as exploring forbearance
- Answering incoming telephone, letter and email queries, providing positive customer service
- Proactively contacting customers in financial difficulty to assess their options for repayment of their loan, ensuring full collections, redemptions and default loans policy is met
- Prepare and review redemption statements
- Managing a portfolio of customers through the arrears and breaches lifecycle, including receivership or legal repossession processes and complex litigation cases
- Monthly reporting and assisting with audits
- Adhering to internal customer service policies and regulatory requirements, FCA, PRA, Money Laundering, Prevention of Financial Crime and Data Protection
- A background within bridging loans
- Experience in servicing, including arrears and collections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to collaborate and support customers
- The ability to prioritise, take initiative, and work to deadlines
