Area Sales Manager

An Area Sales Manager role promoting an industry leading range of lintels and structural support building materials. Account managing and developing the relationship with an established network of builder's merchants & construction distributors, whilst tracking projects with contractors and developers.

Package: Competitive basic salary with a £10k OTE (paid quarterly), car, laptop and mobile
Territory: South Wales, Gloucestershire and Bristol
Selling: Lintels, masonry support and structural building materials
Customers: Builders merchants, specialist distributors, contractors, regional house builders, local developers and structural engineers

THE ROLE - Area Sales Manager:

• A field based territory sales role promoting my clients industry leading range of lintels and masonry support products
• Account managing and developing the relationship with an established network of builders merchants and specialist construction distributors
• Whilst supporting them with the tracking and winning projects with contractors, regional house builders and local developers
• With all business won back-sold through your distribution network
• Working alongside colleagues in other divisions, and a first class technical support team that will assist you with drawings, plans, admin and lead generation

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT - Area Sales Manager:

• You will be a field sales professional with a consultative and structured approach to solution selling
• You may already be working within the construction industry and looking to progress your field sales career
• Or equally you could be within another B2B field sales role and looking to carve out a career within construction industry
• Either way you will be equally as comfortable developing existing relationships, as you are prospecting and winning new business
