Architectural Technician

£30,000 to £35,000

Cornwall - Truro

My client is a successful new build developer who is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to assist and support with planning and technical drawings along with coordinating information.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of land bid site layout based on masterplan designed by the Design Manager, using drawings, AutoCAD or Revit to do so
  • Support the team in preparation of plans in line with policies adhered to
  • Daily maintenance of programmes
  • Assisting in the delivery of effective and relevant legal documentation for each development or phase
  • Liaising with onsite teams and office teams on project progress
  • Regular reporting
  • Attending site visits to carry out reflected practice.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Design and Technical Department for housing contractors
  • Experienced in Autodesk Revit
  • Competent AutoCAD user
  • Computer literate
  • Understanding of residential building design & construction
