Every day will be different within this workshop Advanced Manufacturing Engine position As all rounder within the Prototype and Test Manufacturing Division .Experience is required to join a ever developing research workshop with Diesel Petrol Electric Battery powered off road mobile equipment.

Get involved with the products through the complete manufacturing process working on sub-assembly manufacture as well as final product assembly.Also the production process planning, time analysis, the design and implementation of new production lines and all associated equipment, working within the team on prototype and pilot builds, identifying tooling and equipment required for production ,liaising with the on-site team/suppliers.

Support existing product lines to achieve build deadlines, this involves day to day problem solving, as well as the identification of improvements to reduce assembly times and improve product flow.

This Prototype and Test Technician will actively be involved in the hands on producing/modifying prototype parts (cutting, drilling, forming, machining, welding),plus building prototype machinery, testing machinery (compliance and hydraulic/electrical systems including fault diagnostics ), This is a 90 % workshop based support position with some field trials generally supporting the manufacturing new product assembly teams ..

Experience desired within diesel powered or electric mobile equipment with hydraulics testing and also vehicle electrical systems. Supporting the process working with typical workshop equipment: Hand tools, Lathes, Mills, Drills, Welding Equipment etc.

Also need some working knowledge of typical Microsoft systems Word, Excel, Outlook or general computer know how .
