Reed have partnered with a Bristol based charity, recruiting for an Admin and Property Support Officer on a part time, 2 year fixed term basis, with opportunity to continue after this.  

The role is offering 25 hours per week, with a requirement to do 2 of the days on Thursday and Friday (13 hours), and the other 12 hours can be worked over 2 or 3 days, Monday – Wednesday.

Flexible on hours, as the operating hours are between 9 and 4.30. This could suit school hours for example, so please discuss what you’re looking for upon applying.

Just on the outskirts of Bristol city centre with free on-site parking.

General office administrative experience required, strong communication skills and competent in Microsoft Office packages, along with a driving licence and own car (for very occasional visits).

Full time salary: £25,000

Pro rata’d salary: £17857.14

Duties:

First point of contact for office telephone enquiries

Providing front line administrative support for the Property Services Department

Management of incoming post, the franking machine, ordering of stationery supplies

Production and compilation of documents and reports using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (amongst other software packages)

Monthly banking of cheques

Weekly review of parish banking and credit card usage

To support parishes in using online banking systems and making payments

Managing the paying over of parish second collections to third parties

Assist with processing Gift Aid claims, to include transferring donations

Processing of PayPal payments and reports

Administration of annual mass fees and staff annual breakdown insurance cover

Support to develop and maintain the property databases and record systems

Taking note of all enquiries

Undertake desk-based research and compile and report findings as required

Administration of standardised licences, leases, and tenancy agreements

Providing telephone and e-mail support to Parishes, schools, and other bodies by researching and answering questions and queries that might be raised

Assist in the development and maintenance of filing and file-based record system

Organisation of meetings and other events to include note and or minute taking at meetings where necessary

Provision of hospitality for meetings and setting up rooms

Providing support to other members of the team

Requirements:

A proven track record in a similar administration role.

Good GCSE/AS/A levels 

Car owner with current valid driving licence

Competent IT user, Microsoft Office and other systems experience would be beneficial

Benefits:

Minimum 4% pension, company contributes up to 5%

25 days leave plus Bank Holidays – Pro rata’d works out at 6.6 weeks
