St. Austell Brewery is recruiting for an exciting new job opportunity to join our experienced Events team. As Events and Activation Executive, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation
of key branded events. Across our Southwest trading territory, you’ll need to
build strong relationships with suppliers, third-party brand owners and
colleagues alike. 

The role will also include being the activation lead
for our major events and festivals. Adaptable and highly organised, you’ll be
confident activating our beer brands, including as part of key sponsorships, in
a range of environments, acting as a brand ambassador for the business. You’ll
be in your element, living and breathing the drinks industry, attending and
overseeing events, ensuring our activations have customers and guests at their
heart. You’ll have a flexible approach to duties and working hours, managing a
range of relationships both internally and externally.

Our marketing department is continuing to support
the growth of St Austell Brewery. We understand that in today's fast-paced and
ever-changing world, a well-executed marketing strategy is crucial for success.
That's why we're investing in building a strong team of experts who will work
together to create innovative and effective campaigns that will drive growth
and build our brand. 

About you 

  • Have experience in planning, running, and
    overseeing events. 
  • You will have a flexible approach to
    duties and working hours and a willingness to work anti-social
    hours. 
  • You will have an understanding of budgets
    and the finances surrounding events 
  • Great interpersonal skills; happy
    building positive relationships at all levels internally and
    external. 
  • Have an organised mindset with great
    attention to detail, excellent verbal, written and communication
    skills. 
  • Remain calm under pressure and enjoy
    working in fast-paced environments. 
  • An enthusiastic team player, who’s
    confident in contributing new ideas and recommending new ways of
    approaching ways of working
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the
    drinks category is preferable, but
    not essential.
