Location Horsham

Salary circa £44k plus benefits and hybrid working.

We are delighted to be working with this top UK Accountancy firm who are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their new Financial Reporting Team based in their Horsham office which is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a growing team. Your role will focus on preparing statutory accounts for audit - working on larger and more complex accounts.

About the Accounts Senior role

  • Prepare accounts for audit from trial balance under FRS102 or IFRS
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts
  • Dealing with regulatory disclosure requirements
  • Full training will be given in areas for development. Supportive learning environment provided.
  • Opportunities to supervise semi seniors & assistants who are involved in production and delivery of work.
  • Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients.

What's needed as an Accounts Senior:

  • Experience with full FRS 102 and FRS 102 1a accounts
  • Experience of preparation of group accounts and consolidations preferred.
  • Minimum ACA/ACCA part qualified.
  • Enthusiastic individual with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Team player who can work independently when required.
  • Ability to prioritise, every day is different.
