Accounts Receivable

• Salary: up to 34K per annum + hybrid working 
• Location: Camden Town, London NW1 
• Job Type:  Fixed Term Contract - Permanent 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable professional to join a prestigious interior design firm. This role offers a chance to work in modern offices with full responsibility for all day-to-day accounts receivable transactions for the European entities, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Processing all sales invoices and ensuring timely collection of company debts.
• Accurately processing customer payments into the accounting system.
• Setting up new customers in the accounting system and maintaining accurate records.
• Proactively liaising with customers to decrease payment times.
• Addressing invoice queries promptly and liaising with other departments and customers as necessary, escalating issues when required.
• Preparing and distributing customer statements.
• Keeping detailed records of all communications with customers.
• Preparing Intrastat reporting and EC sales/purchases lists.

About you:

• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month-end.
• Capable of prioritising work and flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to work, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
