Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Housing Association. A client of ours is looking to expand their finance team, they require an experienced Credit Controller to join their Birmingham office. Needing a strong individual who can support the business retrieving aged debts.

Main responsibilities include.

  • Chasing aged debts
  • Mediating housing benefit claims
  • Gathering documentation of claims
  • Communicating with Contracted Tenants and internal members of the team
  • Running regular reporting to track payments/actions which are needed.
  • Maintaining and monitoring accounts.
  • Resolving any Credit Control related queries
  • Initiate or progress legal action where need be.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Someone experienced within a similar role.
  • Experienced working within the Housing sector
  • Experienced using an accounting software such as Sage/SAP and Excel
  • Great communication skills
  • Relationship building qualities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Happy to work 5 days in office.
